Assistant Vice President, Quality and Performance Improvement
Jacquelyn Taylor, Assistant Vice President of Quality and Performance Improvement, is passionate about psychiatric care and committed to delivering high quality healthcare to our patients at Northbrook by ensuring compliance of regulatory standards. She also facilitates performance improvement initiatives for all departments within the organization that yield best practice and services to our patients and their family members.
Jacquelyn has been working in the healthcare industry for 8 years with specialties including psychiatric services, cardiothoracic intensive care, and emergency care/resuscitation within multiple healthcare organizations. Her clinical experience specifically includes direct care with various leadership and education roles.
Jacquelyn initially earned her B.S. degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University before attending Drexel University to obtain her B.S.N. and graduated valedictorian of her nursing class. She then obtained her M.S.N. in Nursing Education from Grand Canyon University.
She is a current PhD student studying Nursing Science through Wilkes University with an expected graduation date of 2026. Her research experience examining psychiatric disorders, medical decision-making, emergency code roles and responsibilities, healthcare design and efficiency, and ecotoxicology in addition to her clinical and education experience provides the extensive, necessary knowledge to continuously optimize the behavioral health environment.
