Welcome to Northbrook Behavioral Hospital

Transparency in Pricing

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires all hospitals to post a list of their standard charges

— a Charge Description Master (CDM) — on the internet in machine-readable format and update that data at least annually. CMS intends for this information to help patients with improved information regarding price transparency.

As required by CMS’s Hospital Price Transparency Final Rule, the following is a link to a machine-readable file that includes: (a) the standard charges for the hospital’s shoppable services and items; and (b) as well as a listing of individual payors that have negotiated rates with Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital.

This link will download a file

A patient’s own charges and out-of-pocket expenses will depend on the actual services each patient receives and the terms of the patient’s insurance coverage.  Due to those variations, the pricing information provided is not a guarantee or estimate of any amount that a patient will be charged for services received.
